How SOLWEH Co., Ltd. collects, uses and protects the personal data you give us through Solweh.

Last updated September 23, 2026

1. Who we are

Solweh is operated by SOLWEH Co., Ltd., a property agency based at 99 Laguna Rd, Bangtao, Phuket, Thailand. In this policy "we", "us" and "our" mean SOLWEH Co., Ltd. and the people who work there.

We decide why and how your personal data is processed on this website, which makes us the data controller for the purposes of Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) ("PDPA").

You can reach us at [email protected], +66 76 123 456, or by post at 99 Laguna Rd, Bangtao, Phuket. For anything about your personal data, please write to [email protected] with "Data request" in the subject line.

2. What we collect

We only ask for what we need to answer you and to run the site. In practice that is:

  • Enquiry and viewing requests — your name, email address, phone number, your message, the reference of the property you asked about and, for a viewing, whether you would like to meet in person or by video call and your preferred date and time.
  • Free valuation / list-your-property requests — the same contact details plus what you tell us about the property: its location, type, number of bedrooms, ownership structure, asking price and any notes you add.
  • Contact form and live chat — your name, email, phone number, subject and message.
  • Newsletter — your email address, and the language edition of the site you subscribed from.
  • Account registration — your first and last name, email address, phone number, a securely hashed password, your profile photo if you upload one, and the properties you save to your favourites.
  • Technical data collected automatically — IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, the page that referred you, and identifiers stored in cookies. See our Cookie Policy.

We do not ask for sensitive personal data (such as religion, health or biometric data) and ask that you do not send it to us in a message. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 20 years old.

3. How we use it, and on what basis

Under the PDPA every use of personal data needs a lawful basis. These are the purposes we process your data for, and the basis we rely on for each:

  • Reply to an enquiry, arrange a viewing, prepare a valuation — It is the reason you contacted us — Lawful basis: Steps taken at your request before entering a contract; legitimate interest
  • Introduce you to the owner, developer or co-agent of a property you asked to see — A viewing cannot be arranged without it — Lawful basis: Your request; legitimate interest
  • Create and run your account, keep your saved properties — To give you the account you asked for — Lawful basis: Performance of a contract with you
  • Send the newsletter and occasional market updates — You asked to receive them — Lawful basis: Consent — withdraw any time via the unsubscribe link
  • Measure how the site is used, fix problems, prevent spam and abuse — To keep the site working and useful — Lawful basis: Legitimate interest; consent for analytics cookies
  • Keep records of transactions and correspondence — Tax, accounting and agency record-keeping — Lawful basis: Legal obligation; legitimate interest

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

4. Who we share it with

Your details are seen by the people who need them to answer you:

  • Our own consultants and staff — the team at SOLWEH Co., Ltd. handling your enquiry.
  • Property owners, developers and co-operating agents — only for the property you have asked about, and only what is needed to arrange a viewing or answer a question.
  • Service providers who run the site for us — website and email hosting, our back-office and CRM system, the live-chat tool, and Google (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Ads) for measurement and advertising.
  • Professional advisers and authorities — lawyers, accountants, auditors, or a government agency or court where the law requires it.

Service providers act on our instructions under a contract and may not use your data for their own purposes.

5. Where your data goes

Our systems are hosted in Thailand and in other countries. Some of our providers — including Google — process data outside Thailand, which means your data may be transferred abroad.

Where that happens we rely on the destination having adequate protection, on contractual safeguards with the provider, or on your consent, as the PDPA allows.

6. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries, viewing requests and valuations — while we are helping you and for up to three years afterwards, so we can pick up a conversation where it left off.
  • Transaction records — for as long as Thai tax and accounting law requires, which is normally ten years.
  • Accounts — until you delete the account, plus a short period in our backups.
  • Newsletter — until you unsubscribe.
  • Analytics data — for the retention period set in the analytics tool, normally no more than 26 months.

When a period ends, the data is deleted or anonymised.

7. How we protect it

The site is served over HTTPS, passwords are stored hashed and never in readable form, and access to the back office is limited to staff who need it and protected by individual accounts.

No website can promise perfect security. If a breach happens that is likely to affect your rights, we will notify the Office of the Personal Data Protection Committee and, where required, you.

8. Your rights under the PDPA

Subject to the conditions and exceptions in the PDPA, you may ask us to:

  • Access your personal data and receive a copy, or be told where we obtained it.
  • Correct data that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.
  • Delete or anonymise your data where we no longer have a reason to keep it.
  • Suspend our use of your data while a request is being resolved.
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest, and to direct marketing.
  • Receive your data in a portable format, or have it sent to another controller where technically possible.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where consent is what we relied on. Withdrawing consent does not affect what we did before.

To exercise any of these, write to [email protected] or use our contact form. We will ask you to confirm your identity and will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Office of the Personal Data Protection Committee in Thailand.

9. Cookies

We use cookies to remember your currency, your language, your saved properties and your choice on the cookie banner, and to measure how the site is used. Our Cookie Policy lists every cookie and explains how to control them.

10. Changes to this policy

We update this policy when the site changes or the law does. The date at the top of the page tells you when it last changed; please check back from time to time.
